Candidate Forum for South Haven City Election

In September/October, over 150 citizens of South Haven convene for a forum sponsored the AAUW Public Policy Committee (PPC) during which candidates answer questions re: their concerns and hopes for South Haven. This meeting is professionally facilitated along with offering state-of-the-art the physical and technological accommodations.

The Candidate Forum serves an important function in contributing to an informed electorate. It also gives the AAUW, SH PPC important information on the feasibility of sponsoring the larger effort of having similar forums for state and national election years. The success of the October forum provides a model for future efforts.
