AAUW South Haven Pauline Chappell Scholarship Program
Established in 1998, the Pauline Chappell Memorial Scholarship Program recognizes those instrumental in the 1947 founding of the South Haven affiliate of AAUW.
Scholarships offered by AAUW SH = $1,500 each

Pathfinder Award: presented to SHHS female first-generation college students making a positive contribution to their school, home or community. This award can be used to offset the cost of traditional college/university, community college, trade school or technical program

Luminary Award: presented to SHHS females who have an awareness of key issues affecting women, and who demonstrate leadership, integrity, and advocacy in their school, home or community. This award can be used to offset the cost of traditional college/university, community college, trade school or technical program

Achievement Award: presented to Pathfinder and Luminary award recipients who complete their current year of college/training with a minimum 2.7 GPA. This award will be applied to the student’s tuition bill the subsequent year of college/training.

Adult Education Award: presented to an organization that supports women in their pursuit of a trade or technical skill
